Moose club in Columbus Oh.
I'm considering parking at the moose club on Noe Bixby for a couple of days while visiting friends in Columbus. anyone familiar with the area or facility?

When traveling back to Syracuse , we stay at the Turning stone in Oneida about 30 miles east of Syracuse or Hejamada campground ,in the fingerlakes region ,30 miles northwest of town.

One more thing that I would have learned from that experience and that is to tow only during daylight hours, unless absolutely necessary.

I stayed at sunset isle campground about 3 years ago, and the facility was in shambles, in my opinion. Cedar Key is worth at least one visit. I probably will not return.

Can anyone ,with personal experience, say that adding a topper to their pickup has had an effect on mileage one way or another?

RE: Found product to remove leak stains on ceiling!
Kilz makes a product called "upshot" it's made specifically for ceiling stains. I have used it in manufactured homes on ceiling tiles and popcorn ceilings with great results. I would not hesitate to use it in an rv.

I'm happy to say I am a former resident of New York. the taxes were outrageous when I left 16 years ago. I can only imagine what they are now. I can understand why N.Y.S has a decrease in population.

RE: RV "break-ins" at state parks and campgrounds????
haven't heard of any break-ins at campgrounds, but a couple returning to Pa. stopped at a Crackerbarrel in Jacksonville,Fl. when they returned to their rig after dinner, they discovered a window smashed out and blood all over. apparently the crooks left with a few small items and a hand that required medical attention.

I am a boater as well as an rv'er. I built a houseboat about eight years ago,it sleeps two, has a head with shower, galley with fridge and microwave. it's called an 'aqua casa' saw the plans advertised in wooden boat magazine and went to work. very enjoyable to cruise the local waters in Florida.

freestar tires?
I just recieved a set of freestar tires from the Tireco warranty dept. to replace two mission tires that failed during my recent trip. anyone ever hear of freestar, if so can I expect more problems? the mission tires had only about 9000 miles on them when I noticed bulges in the tread. they wer'e original equipment on my '06 sunline. I drive between 55 and 65 and maintain proper pressure. B.T.W. Tireco has been very supportive in honoring my warranty claim.

RE: Toyota Tundra, 4.7 Liter, Can it tow anything?
I just returned from a month long 5000 mile trip covering the eastern third of the country. I have a 2006 tundra with 4.7 v8 and tow a 5000lb uvw. sunline tt. I liked the performance of this combination so well that I traded my 2001 tundra for another tundra. the trip came upon all types of terrain including mountains in Pennsylvania and Tennesee. mpg was between 10 and 12. the tundra ,in my opinion is a solid reliable performer when towing a trailer in this weight range.

I have the 1000 watt "shark" with all attachments including carpet tool with rotating brush,works great. it's light and compact perfect for my TT. purchased it at Sears for around $39.00
